WINTER SPORTS

Calgary was home to the 1988 Winter Olympics, and many of the facilities provide the venue for winter competitions including ski jumping, luge, speed skating, bobsledding and cross country ski racing. Whistler/Blackcomb and Lake Louise have world cup alpine ski events throughout the winter. Vancouver/Whistler will be hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics.

NHL Hockey / NBA Basketball

Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton have NHL Hockey throughout the winter (Canucks, Flames, and Oilers respectfully).Seattle is a short 3 hour drive away to see the NBA Supersonics and the NFL Seahawks. Let us arrange a tour including tickets to some of the big league games.
